What Sets Us Apart
Cambridge Home School Online prides itself on the many ways we teach French to children, in a way that helps them critically evaluate text and explain it categorically. We aim to help students learn the language from the ground up, and help them easily carry a conversation with confidence.
We utilise various methods to instil a passion in your child for the language and ensure that your child isn’t overburdened. Learning a new language can be difficult, but Lower School is the best age for your child to learn it. Our resources consist of audio-visual lectures, case studies, and mock exams that help your child remember correct grammar usage. Our primary focus areas can be divided into four parts: speaking, reading, listening, and writing.
Read MoreStudents enrolled in our class will master the art of effective communication and respond to a range of information, media and texts. Additionally, we help students gain confidence in their communication skills through presentations on everyday situations. Students will gain access to a range of texts that they may read for information and leisure to understand different writing styles and tones.
By the end of our program, we aim to help children become fluent in French and have the ability to confidently and accurately use words for a range of different audiences and purposes and understand context and figure of speech.
Why Choose Cambridge Home School
Unmatched Academic Support
At Cambridge Home School Online, we have a team of highly-trained and experienced subject specialist teachers. Oftentimes, the curriculum for students in conventional schools is homogenised and does not consider modern trends. Students are often not given the attention they require from their teachers, which can affect their learning and retention capabilities. A large number of students in the same room makes it difficult for teachers to track their academic progress as well.
Read MoreTo ensure that students are given the attention they need to learn and retain the information; our classes are divided into small groups of 8–10 students. We believe that students perform better academically when they receive their teachers’ attention. In most conventional schools, the student-teacher ratio is high. This means that too many students are in class, preventing a learning environment from being engaging, interactive, stimulating, and retentive.
We believe that by reversing this approach, we can help students improve their academic performance and get the help they need to master core concepts. We also use an interdisciplinary curriculum that helps students understand how concepts taught at school can be implemented in the real world. Our students can master their subjects with ease and confidence through a wider curriculum, ensuring that they are prepared for their exams.

Pastoral Support
While academic success is at the forefront of our goals for students, our teachers also embed a variety of soft skills, so students are better equipped with social tools to express themselves and make the most of what they learn in class. These include critical thinking and problem-solving activities.
A teaching institute that only cares about academic performance is bound to limit growth for its students. At Cambridge Home School Online, we believe that students should feel valued and supported. A healthy school-life balance can help them manage their academic performance. The lack of a healthy school-life balance can affect students’ academic performance, leading to depression and overworked students.
Read MoreOur school counsellors are present to help students manage their academic and non-academic needs. They build trust by providing support, thereby helping the school understand the child’s specific needs to pay attention in class. Today’s students are more prone to experiencing stress and anxiety due to the endless variety of factors affecting their academic performance. This is especially the case for older students under pressure to secure top grades to get into their university of choice. By integrating students’ needs into how we design our curriculum, we can provide them with a healthy and supportive learning environment.
Having the right support system can help students manage their mental health. By understanding their problems, our school counsellors can help them overcome their fear of failure and instil a sense of confidence that will help them for the rest of their lives. They also provide complete guidance and support at all times. Addressing and managing these problems is essential for a student’s mental health. It can be challenging for students to feel secure and understood if they’re not supported properly. Our school counsellors help them manage their concerns and keep them on track.
