Sixth Form (A Levels)
Spanish

Description

At Cambridge Home School Online, we understand that mastering a new language can be difficult. If students aren’t equipped with excellent teaching support, the right resources, and continual guidance, they can easily fall behind. Our MA/MSc/PhD qualified teachers deliver robust, comprehensive, and well-paced A Level Spanish lessons to help students master the language.

We start by further strengthening the foundation already built at the IGCSE stage. Students revise basic language rules: grammar, spelling, punctuation, pronunciation, reading, writing, etc. Once they have a good grasp of the basics, we ease them into more nuanced aspects of the language. Students learn how to understand diverse texts, speak Spanish with clarity and fluency, and extract information to perform specific tasks without hesitation.

Our teachers offer more insight into the culture and history of countries where Spanish is spoken. As a result, students develop a more contextual understanding of the language. They learn local inflections and develop a strong command over Spanish. Students become capable of conversing with native speakers.

We also build strong analytical and memory skills in students. Our A Level Spanish students secure top grades and achieve even greater linguistic success as they pursue Spanish as a subject in university. In many cases, our students have attended university or started a career in countries where Spanish has been the primary language. Owing to their strong language skills, they have adjusted exceptionally well in these new locations.
