Enabling Students to Secure Top Grades
Ages 14 to 16 (Year 10, Year 11)

The International GCSE examinations carry immense weight. During these two critical years, students must prepare exceptionally well and perform with confidence, clarity, and proficiency. Highly respected standalone qualifications, the IGCSEs are a passport for progression to A Levels and ultimately university. Students who succeed in these examinations and perform well in their A Level examinations attend some of the most prestigious universities across the globe, including Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Princeton, and Duke, among others.
At Cambridge Upper School, we prepare students for excellence. We use a rigorous, well-rounded, independent curriculum to cover greater academic breadth and depth. The national curriculum doesn’t equip students with the knowledge, skills, and expertise they need to secure excellent grades. By providing an interdisciplinary curriculum that covers more ground, we help students develop a nuanced understanding of their subjects and prepare more rigorously.

Cambridge Upper School students typically secure between a half and one whole grade higher than their peers from other IGCSE schools. This is because CHS students enjoy numerous advantages over their peers. We have a team of MA/MSc/PhD qualified subject specialist teachers on board. Moreover, we keep the classroom size low (8 to 10 students per group). This increases class engagement and interactivity. Students also receive one-on-one attention from their teachers.
Moreover, we provide a large archive of video-recorded lessons and educational resources like presentations, study guides, past papers, etc. Students can use these tools to catch up, complete their homework, and revise with greater ease and adroitness. By providing a world-class education to IGCSE students, we help them succeed and become confident, capable, and critical leaders. Our students continually impress us by acing their IGCSE examinations and continuing their streak of academic success in A Levels, university, and beyond.
