International Primary Prep School Online (Key Stage 2)

Preparing Students for Higher Level Study

Ages 7 to 10 (Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, Year 6)

At Cambridge Primary Prep School, we’re committed to building a strong foundation in younger students. Our curriculum covers a wide range of subjects, including Maths, English, Science, Topic, Languages and Culture, and Art.

Our MA/MSc/PhD qualified subject specialist teachers carefully build on each student’s previous learning. We develop a systematic approach to help students grasp and gradually develop mastery over the fundamentals. This helps them progress to more advanced academic stages with greater ease and efficiency.

We allow students to become creative, critical, and well-rounded thinkers. Our teachers start developing each pupil’s knowledge, concepts, and skills in an age-appropriate and progressive manner. Starting from Year 3 and continuing till Year 6, we acclimatise students to a new learning pattern and pace to ensure that their understanding is extended and built upon each year.

We expect our students to perform exceptionally well in school. Our teachers achieve this goal by equipping children with the teaching support, academic tools, guidance, and reassurance they need to succeed. Our independent curriculum meets each student’s unique academic requirements. As a result, students enjoy an engaging, stimulating, and retentive learning experience. They develop a genuine interest in their lessons, enjoy the class discussions and activities, and become confident, well-behaved achievers.

At Cambridge Primary Prep School, we believe that parental support is extremely important for young children. Our teachers, education specialists, and school counsellors play their role in helping young students succeed. However, this isn’t enough. We also expect parents to be present during their children’s education. While parents aren’t required to check in on their children between classes, they’re encouraged to assist them with homework and/or revision.

We also recommend establishing a healthy learning and growing environment at home so your children can develop exceptionally well: academically, personally, socially, morally, and ethically. We shoulder these responsibilities and expect parents to continue building the chain at home. We’re grateful for your support. Let’s start securing a better and brighter future for your children! We assess each student’s progress using the rubric shared below.
