Top Grades
At Cambridge Home School Online, we have a razor-sharp focus on helping our students secure top grades. We presently offer four competitive homeschooling programs in Newcastle: Primary Prep/Key Stage 2 (ages 7 to 10), Lower School/Key Stage 3 (ages 11 to 13), Upper School/IGCSEs (ages 14 to 16), and Sixth Form/AS & A-Levels (ages 17 to 19).
Across each stage, we use a well-rounded, independent, and interdisciplinary curriculum. This is a departure from the national curriculum, which is too prescriptive.
Read MoreOur success is also due to our qualified team of MA/MSc/PhD subject specialist teachers. They work intimately with each student, customising classes to maximise learning. This focus extends beyond academics to include personal, social, moral, and ethical growth, preparing students to be responsible and empathetic community members.
Cambridge Home School Online provides a rich repository of online learning materials, including lessons, videos, quizzes, and more, ensuring Newcastle students have continual access to educational resources.
Work-Life Balance
Online schooling is significantly more flexible than conventional schooling in Newcastle. At Cambridge Home School Online, we make this demarcation more pronounced by offering greater flexibility and convenience to our students.
In most conventional schools, students are taught in groups of 25 or sometimes even 30 pupils. The classes are poorly timed. Students often sit in class for a longer duration, which wastes essential time. The lessons aren’t as focused as they should be. As a result, students fail to cover sufficient ground for the day.
Our teachers deliver lessons to small groups of 8–10 students, no more. Keeping the student-teacher ratio low ensures that each student receives individualised, one-on-one attention from their teachers. Our classes are well-structured and well-timed. They begin and end on time, which helps parents plan out the rest of their child’s day accordingly.
We also provide one-on-one success coaching and pastoral support to every pupil. Our students are provided with guidance, support, advice, reassurance, and insight they need to stay on track. If a student is struggling, their problems are addressed by empathetic counsellors and teachers in a timely manner.
We take student mental health seriously and ensure that our students feel good about their learning experiences. This, in turn, also improves their academic performance by leaps and bounds.

Keeping Parents Informed
We believe that parents play a pivotal role in helping students succeed. Every parent must remain informed about their child’s progress at all times. Our teachers provide parents with 24/7 access to their children’s coursework.
Additionally, we hold three parent-teacher meetings each year, one in every term. This helps us discuss each student’s progress with their parents.
We also request feedback from parents based on how their child has developed at home. Maintaining transparency and honesty during these meetings ensures that you know where your child stands today without any embellishments.
