Academic Advancement
We’re committed to helping students become confident, successful learners. This cannot be achieved if students don’t have the right teaching support and resources. Our teachers deliver lessons to small groups of 8–10 pupils. Keeping the student-teacher ratio low, they succeed in maximising student engagement, interest, and retention. If students get distracted, they can be easily reeled back into the lesson.
This approach is largely absent in the large majority of conventional schools. As many as 30 students are taught in a single classroom, which places a lot of pressure on their teacher. Teachers can’t pay close attention to every student when there are so many pupils in the classroom. As a result, teachers develop a laidback approach. They fail to take note of each student’s academic strengths and weaknesses.
Students bear the brunt of this. Their schooling experience isn’t as enriching, which affects their concentration capabilities. Many students zone out and fail to absorb the bulk of their lesson. This directly affects their grades.

Since the national curriculum lacks educational breadth and depth, we’ve developed our own curriculum. This combines the best features of the conventional curriculum with new elements.

In June 2021, 86% of our IGCSE students secured A*s and As in their target subjects. 83% of our A Level students secured two As and a B or higher, as requested by top universities.
