Online Schooling in Bangladesh

Celebrated for being home to the world’s largest river delta, the longest female-led government in the world, and its beautiful landscapes, Bangladesh is a visual, cultural, and historical delight. Everything from its battle to independence to the anecdotes about the Bengal tigers to its awe-striking architecture is a treat through and through.

If you live in Bangladesh, you may also know that the country has a penchant for quality education. Bangladeshi parents are strictly focused on ensuring that their children receive a quality education. At Cambridge Home School Online, we wish to make this decision easier for parents.

Top Grades

At Cambridge Home School Online, we have a razor-sharp focus on helping our students secure top grades. We presently offer four competitive homeschooling programs in Bangladesh: Primary Prep/Key Stage 2 (ages 7 to 10), Lower School/Key Stage 3 (ages 11 to 13), Upper School/IGCSEs (ages 14 to 16), and Sixth Form/AS & A-Levels (ages 17 to 19).

Across each stage, we use a well-rounded, independent, and interdisciplinary curriculum. This is a departure from the national curriculum, which is too prescriptive. It fails to cover curricular breadth and depth, leaving students with insufficient knowledge. When Bangladeshi pupils sit their exams, they struggle to recollect critical concepts and get confused, which affects their grades.

Using an independent curriculum, we cover more ground and build greater exam confidence in students. Our approach has yielded excellent results over the years. In June 2021, 86% of our IGCSE students secured A*s and As in their target subjects. 83% of our A Level students secured two As and a B or higher, as requested by top universities. Moreover, all students who applied received offers from some of the best universities across the globe.

Our student success is also attributed to our hardworking team of MA/MSc/PhD qualified subject specialist teachers. Our teachers work closely with each student, analysing their learning habits, preferences, strengths, and weaknesses.

Work-Life Balance

Online schooling is significantly more flexible than conventional schooling in Bangladesh. At Cambridge Home School Online, we offer greater flexibility and convenience to our students, helping them enjoy a healthier school-life balance. Students attend focused lessons, which means that they don’t have to sit through protracted lessons that leave them feeling exhausted and worn out by the end of the day.

Our teachers present bulky, complex, and hard-to-digest information in palatable, fun, and small bites of knowledge. This helps students absorb and retain knowledge better.

Keeping Parents Informed

We believe that parents play a pivotal role in helping students succeed. Every parent must remain informed about their child’s progress at all times. Our teachers provide parents with 24/7 access to their children’s coursework. Additionally, we hold three parent-teacher meetings each year, one in every term. This helps us discuss each student’s progress with their parents. We also request feedback from parents based on how their child has developed at home.
